2015-04-03 Jeep Safari Trade Show & Potato Salad Hill

The last 2 days we checked out the Jeep Safari Trade Show.  It has all the cool new stuff that you just can't live without.

This little baby was only $120K.

This was my favorite.

This Jeep was just waving Hello.

This is a proto-type of a new wheelchair.

Vaughan made friends with some guy named Smokey.

He also won the raffle for a set of new headlights from J.W.Speaker.  They are the next generation of LED Jeep lights valued at around $700.  He was thrilled especially when he was asked to take a picture with Tayler & Tara (whom he tried to trade the headlights for).  The headlights will be delivered in June.

At the trade show there were lots of giveaways.  Every time we turned a corner someone was handing us T-shirt, hats, etc.  All in all we scored 17 T-shirts, 9 hats, 3 huge trail bags, 3 Jeep canteens, and lots of can coozies, water bottles, flashlights, tire gauges, handkerchiefs, lip balms, buffs, nylon backpacks, buffer cloths, braided rope bracelets, bottle openers, and every flavor of RockStar you can think of.  I'm glad we have an RV to carry back all the booty.

Downtown we drove up next to this guy - what is wrong with this picture?
I'll tell you after you get a chance to look.
No, he's not driving backwards down Main Street - his front is identical to his back,
Made us look twice.

This was pretty amazing - his tires were as tall as me.

Then we drove to the base of Potato Salad Hill to watch the crawlers.
Here are a few shots.

Yes, they all made - no roll overs.

Tonight it's back to the trade show for the main raffle drawing.
