We got up early this morning and headed to New Mexico. Along the way we saw a “herd” (8) of
Javelinas (small black haired piggies) – I wasn’t fast enough to get a picture.
We made it to Las Cruces, NM by 2:00 so we headed up to
White Sands National Monument. The sand
is so fine and white. It drifts so much that they had plows out moving it to
the side of the road. You would swear
you were driving in snow.
