4/17 - Headed to Hanksville Utah. Another incredible drive.
So nice of Jill to take pictures of us moving through the area to give you an idea of the drive (and all the curves).
A view from above.
You are allowed to climb on anything - and we did.
Vaughan here on a stone throne - King of the Goblins!
Here he is looking through a window of his castle.
A closer look.
Jim and Jill
We took what we thought was a hike to Goblins Lair but it turned out we were on the wrong trail. We were hiking Red Canyon Primitive trail which followed a long wash with 6-10 foot walls on each side. Very cool until it started to rain then snow - very large hard pellets of snow. We turned and headed back to the safety of our cars. You never want to be in a wash with bad weather.
Next a short drive out to Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon. The rain and snow had stopped so on into the canyon they went.
