4/16 - The owner of our RV park (Sand Creek) told us about Fish Creek Panel & Waterfall. He said it may be the only waterfall in the area seeing they didn't get the snow they normally get at this time of year.
At the trailhead is a white sandstone cliff with pictographs of a herd of animals with a hunter standing behind.
Next to that is what looks like a man but we could not figure out what the other drawing was,
We walked through this amazing canyon amongst these gorgeous tall pines.
Eventually we came to a snow/ice path that we knew would lead to the waterfall.
This soon turned into very thick ice with large cracks where we could see water flowing beneath.
The deeper we got - the thicker the ice, We were walking on top of a stream. I'm not sure how anyone would have gotten to the waterfall if the stream had not been frozen. It made for a very cool slot canyon.
(This tree's trunk was laying all the way up the side of the canyon before reaching out.)
This is us standing before the waterfall - mostly frozen but with cracks where you could see the water falling down behind.
The ice was so dirty that you can't tell by the picture what is ice and what is rock.

Here is Vaughan standing in the creek bed in a crack in the ice.
What a fun hike with great friends
Another lazy tree - laying on the side of the canyon before straightening out.
