2015-03-25 Crack Canyon & Black Dragon Wash

We spent the day jeeping & hiking.  First was Crack Canyon down by Goblin Valley and Little Wild Horse Canyon - which we hiked back in 2012.

On the way passed Temple Mountain

It was quite a bumpy Jeep ride but we finally made it to Crack Canyon

This portion of the slot canyon is known as the Subway.

At this point you needed to repel down or turn back - we turned back.

As pretty going out - as in.

Back at the Subway

Swiss cheese walls - very cool.

Then we drove out to Black Dragon Wash for more pictographs.  We had to go through a number of gated cattle guards to get there and I ripped open a finger on some of the barbed wire - didn't let it stop me although it wouldn't stop bleeding for over an hour.

At the bottom middle of this picture you'll see an alcove- that is where the pictographs were.

Now back at the RV getting a little medical attention and planning our hike for tomorrow.
